What Does It Mean When You Dream about Your Crush?

Have you ever wondered what it means to dream about your crush? Let’s get this right off the bat – just because you’re dreaming of them, doesn’t mean they’re dreaming of you.

So don’t be in a hurry to take your oh-so-decadently-delicious dreams about them to be some sort of divine sign that you’re supposed to be together. Slow your horses!

So what could dreaming about your crush possibly mean? It depends a lot on what circumstances you dream of them in.

1. Dreaming of being intimate with them

They’re your crush! That’s obvious, isn’t it? You spend all day, and all night, thinking about them, hoping they’ll call, hoping they’ll reply to your DMs, wondering what that cute little emoji they sent you was all about, wondering if they’ll like this perfume you’re wearing, or if they’ll approve of your tie, or, or, or!

When you’ve got someone running through your mind 24-7 like a hamster that’s chugged cartons of Red Bull on a wheel, it’s only natural that you’re going to dream about them!

Dreams will always reflect whatever it is that’s on our minds all the time.  You’ve clearly thought about kissing them and more, a lot. Your dreams will only follow suit.

2. Dreaming of being rejected by them

This one doesn’t feel so great. It shows that deep down inside, you’re afraid of making a move to let them know how you feel, because you worry you’ll be rejected. This fear of rejection could be so difficult to get past, that you find yourself dreaming about it.

You can turn this around by making the best of it. How? So you’ve had a dream about being rejected. Sit with the feeling for a bit, and then ask yourself – are you any less than who you are, having experienced this in your dream?

No? Then maybe you can have some courage and go ask them out! You already know what them rejecting you will be like, and you’re still breathing. You’ve got nothing to lose.

3. Dreaming of them making fun of you

This is a huge tell about how you feel about yourself on the inside. You sincerely think you’re just not good enough for them.

On one hand, you’re overcome with deep feelings for this person, and they’re all you can think about. On the other hand, you’re riddled with so many insecurities, and such a deep feeling of inadequacy.

The combination of these two factors, makes it only natural for you to have a dream of your crush – the one person you want to give yourself to – making a mockery of you.

So if you have this dream, it’s important for you to be honest with yourself, and realize they’re just as human as you. No one’s better than anyone, and you deserve to have your desires, or at least try to make them happen.

4. Dreaming of a disagreement with your crush.

When you have a dream like this, it could be really disconcerting. Why would you be in a disagreement with the one person you are crushing so hard on? It doesn’t make any sense, not on the surface.

Once you delve deeper though, you may realize some interesting truths. You either feel like they’re probably not really a great match for you, and that’s a reason you haven’t bothered to act on your feelings.

It could also be another way your deeper mind shows you you’re afraid to try because you’re worried that things will end with an ugly heartbreak.

5. Dreaming your crush is into you

This is the kind of dream you wake up from, with a smile on your face, clearly. If only it were real. Remember, a dream of this sort does not necessarily mean that they share the same feelings as you do. It’s wishful, at best.

However, it could mean that you truly believe you and this person could, and should be together. It shows that you’re confident enough to seek out the possibilities!

So why not stop dreaming, and go literally make your dreams come true? You’ve nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
